University of Hawaii’s Kennedy Theatre

Kenny originally met Senjiro at a Kabuki performance when he lived in Japan in the 80s. Senjiro is a graduate of the National Theater Kabuki School and has worked full time as a percussionist for Kikugoro Gekidan, the official company of the Grand Kabuki , for the past 30 years. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to witness a traditional/contemporary fusion of Japanese drumming styles!
