Off to St. Louis!

Tuesday, August 30th, 2011

Had a great time at the NATC, reconnecting with old friends and meeting new taiko enthusiasts! We were honored to again perform at Taiko Jam.
Thank you to Yuta Kato, Chris Bergstrom, San Jose Taiko, Jun Taiko, and the many many volunteers who helped make the 2011 NATC so awesome!

Then….returned to HI to have multi-talented Kyosuke Suzuki in residency for an intense week of TV and radio programs, workshops, lecture-demonstrations, performances, concerts, and a world lion dance festival.
What a great week it was!

Now off to Saint Louis to perform with Kaoru (yokobue, taiko), Ayako (harp), and Haruka (violin) Watanabe at the Japanese Festival, Missouri Botanical Gardens. September 3-5, 2011
