Kenny Endo Taiko Ensemble collaborates with the UH Dance Program to present a unique performance of taiko and dance pieces. Premiering two new compositions by Kenny Endo (“Midnight Moon”) and Derek Nakamoto (“Threads of Aspirations”), the performance also features pieces by Chizuko Endo, Kirstin Pauka, and Hiroshi Tanaka with choreography by UH Dance Faculty.

February 8, 9, 15, and 16 at 8 pm, and Sunday February 17 at 2 pm.

New Year’s Day in Honolulu was a long one for us……fireworks at midnite (considerably toned down from years past). Then a 7:30 AM performance at DFS in Waikiki and a 2 hour performance at Ala Moana Center Stage with special guests Todd Yukumoto, and Ryoko Oka. A great way to start off the new year!
