			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Had an amazing week working with Abhijit Banerjee and John Santos on the &#8220;Uncommon Time: Taiko, Tabla, and Timbal&#8221; project at Leeward Community College.  Thank you Karen Fischer and Chizuko for making it happen. Thank you Joe Patti for trusting us and giving us the time and space.  Abhijit and John are both amazing and talented artists. The time shared was both challenging and rewarding and was just the beginning.  Next up for &#8220;Uncommon Time&#8221; is Soka University in SoCal (a then the Fall Tours.</p>
<p>A day after the &#8220;Uncommon Time&#8221; performanc at LCC,Kenny Endo is DOWN UNDER in Australia with Taikoz!  Looking forward to an exciting collaboration on Tuesday then the<strong> <em>Taiko Intensive. </em> </strong><em></p>

Here&#8217;s hoping 2012 is better than 2011 and may 2012 be the BEST YEAR EVER!</p>
<p>New Year&#8217;s Day in Honolulu was a long one for us&#8230;&#8230;fireworks at midnite (considerably toned down from years past). Then a 7:30 AM performance at DFS in Waikiki and a 2 hour performance at Ala Moana Center Stage with special guests Todd Yukumoto, and Ryoko Oka.  A great way to start off the new year!<br />

for a foot-stompin, body-shakin&#8217; experience!<br />
Terry uses the oldest musical instrument in the world &#8212; the human body (his own) &#8212; as the basis for exploring, blending and bending rhythmic, percussive movement possibilities. Endo is the vanguard of the contemporary taiko genre. Having first collaborated over 20 years ago in Tokyo, they have continued to develop their musical journey together.   </p>
