Donations will help support school and community outreach programs, Fall 2010 “Gateway – ‘Ma’ vs. Groove” concert tour with artists from Japan and the US including Kenny Endo (taiko), Hitoshi Hamada (vibraphones), Michihiro Sato (Tsugaru shamisen), Kaoru Watanabe (bamboo flutes), Shoko Hikage (koto), and more! TCP-YG performs at the 10th Annual Pacific Rim Children’s Choral Festival, along with 300+ young voices from around the country.

Taiko Center of the Pacific takes the day off on Sunday, July 4th! There will be NO classes and NO Open Practice today.
BUT we are BACK to drumming on Monday July 5th. Monday night Adult Intermediate will meet as usual on July 5th! See you then.

Special one-week intensive courses for those interested in concentrated, short term study. This year, the courses are on odaiko (the big drum) and shime daiko (small rope-lashed drum).
