Heartfelt MAHALO to the Hawai’i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts (HSFCA) for its support of Kenny Endo and Taiko Center of the Pacific Performing Ensemble’s “Traditional Festival Music of Old Tokyo” project in 2016-2017. With this grant, “the HFSCA acknowledges Endo’s contribution in perpetuating a tradition that is an important part of Hawaii’s cultural heritage.”
The “Traditional Festival Music of Old Tokyo” program is supported by the Hawai’i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, celebrating its 50th anniversary, through appropriations from the Legislature of the State of Hawai’i and by the National Endowment for the Arts.”
